The price list of BS6 MG Hector Petrol and Petrol-Hybrid has been leaked ahead of its launch next month.
Dealerships take stopped taking bookings for the BS4 Hector as the BS6 version is incoming very soon. Also, the customers who are yet to receive their cars are also told that they will get BS6 MG Hector only, with a considerable price hike.
Ahead of the launch, we have the complete price list of the BS6 MG Hector Petrol and Petrol-Hybrid. There are no details about the BS6 Hector diesel available right now. Here’s the list:

As seen, the petrol-DCT, petrol-MT and Hybrid-MT variants, all have received a price hike of Rs 26,000. Other than the engine upgrade, we are also expecting MG to upgrade its i-Smart touchscreen infotainment of some bugs and minor issues.

Seeing the petrol price hike, we are expecting Hector diesel to receive a price hike of more than a lakh. The SUV will continue with the same engines only post BS6 norms. For reference, the diesel variants start at Rs 13.48 Lakhs up to Rs 17.28 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom).
It uses a 1.5 Litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.0 Litre FCA-sourced turbo-diesel engine. Reportedly, MG is developing a new diesel and more powerful diesel engine for Hector. It will produce around 180-190 BHP and will be more apt for the bigger Hector.
Soon, MG is also going to launch the 6-seater/7-seater Hector. There will be minor cosmetic upgrades, mostly related to the bumpers and headlamps. Reports suggest it might also see a mild power boost because of its additional bodyweight.

Coming 2020 Auto Expo, MG is going to unveil 14 new models. We expect the MG ZS (ICE-powered) and the Maxus D90 (Fortuner and Endeavour Rival) to debut. Other models could include some hatchbacks as well as sedans.
