Hyundai Aura comes with BS-6 compliant engines, and its prices are inclusive of that. . The prices of Amaze are yet to increase, which starts at Rs 5.93 Lakhs. In comparison, the Aura starts off cheaper at Rs 5.79 Lakhs up to Rs 9.23 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

As for the Amaze, it gets a 1.2 Litre i-VTEC engine, producing 90 BHP and 110 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a CVT gearbox.
Further, the Aura also gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Venue. The motor is capable of producing 100 BHP and 172 Nm of peak torque, with a 5-speed MT as standard fitment.

Aura diesel will run on a 1.2 Litre U2 CRDi diesel engine, that puts out 75 BHP and 190 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. Amaze uses a more powerful 1.5 Litre i-DTEC diesel engine, producing 100 BHP and 200 Nm of peak torque with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The CVT variants produce 80 BHP an 160 Nm of peak torque. In the case of engines, the Amaze diesel offers much more power.
