Hero is going to hike the prices of Splendor, Xpulse, Maestro Edge and all the other models by Rs 2,000. The price hike will be effective from January 2020.
Hero Motocorp is going to hike the prices of all of its motorcycles and scooters, effective from January 1. The price hike will be up to Rs 2,000 and will depend on the exact model and in which city/state it is sold.
The affected models include Hero Splendor, Passion, Xpulse, Maestro Edge and others. Chances are that the price hike could be for the BS-6 up-gradation. Anyhow, with the inclusion of BS-6 the prices were set to increase by 10-15%.
The last price hike it did was for the Xtreme 200S, a couple of months back. Hero has confirmed that it will start rolling out its BS-6 lineup well before the deadline. However, a lot of models are going to face the axe post-April 2020.
