Volkswagen group owned car brand Seat may make its entry to Indian car market after it has recently entered China. As per a top official of Volkswagen group, there is a possibility of Seat launching small cars in India which is a high volume segment in Indian Automobile market. The small cars which fit in Indian portfolio of Seat cars include the Seat Ibiza and Seat Mii.

Seat Ibiza is a small car which is close to 4 meters in length and falls in the segment of Volkswagen Polo. In terms of space, size and styling, it’s a good small car suited for Indian market and may clock good sales number if launched with right price tag. The styling and exterior appeal of the car is quite upmarket. Seat Ibiza is powered by 1.2 Litre TDI Engine with 70 BHP of power. There are also petrol variants with 85 BHP of peak power. The engine options will be changed for Indian markets based on the needs of Indian roads when the car is launched in India in future.

Seat Mii Small Car Details And Pictures
Seat Mii is based on the Volkswagen Up Platform, the same platform on which the Skoda Citigo small car is also based. These three cars also look very similar to each other because of the same reason. Talking of the engines, the Seat Mii has a fuel efficient 1 litre petrol engine with peak power output between 60 to 75 PS depending on the variant, and delivers good fuel economy along with low tail pipe emissions. Seat Mii has the potential to sell in high numbers in India if priced aggressively against the existing popular 1 litre segment cars like the Chevrolet Spark, Hyundai Santro, Hyundai i10, Maruti Alto k10 etc.
