50 Cars Wrecked by Truck in SA
The video clip has been shared by CNN-News18 on YouTube. The report shows the carnage left behind on the motorway. As per the details in the video, a speeding truck on a motorway near Umhlanga town in KwaZulu-Natal province on Monday. The accident took place during the morning hours when the traffic was at its peak as people were travelling for their work. Thankfully, no deaths were reported from the scene but the massive pile-up looks horrible.

Now, the exact reason for this accident is not known. However, it looks like the truck driver lost control and was not able to steer away the truck out of the highway. We can expect that the speed of the truck was high since it was travelling on the motorway. The affected drivers were talking to the new reporters who arrived at the scene. They said that they saw the truck hitting car after car in their rear-view mirrors but were not able to get out of the way.

That is often the case in such situations. Once the chain reaction starts, one doesn’t get enough time to react appropriately and ends up getting entangled in them.
