In a horrendous incident, a Tata Nexon was totally deformed in a high-speed crash. Nexon is a 5-star safety-rated compact SUV that ignited the popularity of NCAP ratings in India. It was one of the first Indian vehicles to score a full 5-star rating at Global NCAP back in 2018. Ever since that time, it has been able to replicate this performance despite the procedure becoming stricter and the Nexon getting a facelift. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest case where the old model of the Nexon is showcased.
Tata Nexon High-Speed Crash
This video stems from Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel features content around the performances of cars during unfortunate scenarios, as well as road safety. As per the information in the video, this case emerged from somewhere in Madhya Pradesh. As per the information in this post, the Tata Nexon was being driven at high speed. When it collided, the vehicle toppled over and sustained severe damage. In fact, the video showcases the locals trying to overturn the car using brute force.
They are searching for any survivors. Unfortunately, two people traveling in the Tata Nexon couldn’t survive this crash. That is not a surprise since the compact SUV is in a completely dilapidated condition. The entire section behind the engine bay has been crushed to pieces. In fact, the rear section is almost deleted and it is hard to fathom that there was anything there. The roof, side pillars, rear seats, front seats, tail section, etc are all eliminated. This is a clear testament to the fact that the vehicle was at extremely high speed.
Our View
Overspeeding remains the top reason for most road accidents in India. We lose lakhs of lives each year in terrible crashes. Violating the speed limits will mostly lead to fatal conditions. You must remember that no safety rating can save you if you get involved in a crash at high speed. Even the crash test ratings are performed at around 60 km/h. Hence, the only safety equipment you possess is driving under the speed limit. I urge our readers to never flout traffic regulations. Also, encourage everyone around you to do the same so that we can make our roads safer.
