Driver Loses Control and Hits XUV700
As you can see in the above video by NLTV, the front wheel of a top-spec Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 (O) has completely come off. The owner claims this happened while driving on the road in Dimapur, Nagaland. As a result, the driver lost control and ran into an XUV700 parked on the roadside. Fortunately, there were no causalities. However, you can see significant damage on Scorpio-N’s front grille, bumper, and fenders. Since the accident in a densely populated area, the results of the crash could have been much worse.

The SUV owner remains shocked after the dangerous incident. He had purchased the top-spec Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 (O) just 5 months ago. The owner has raised the issue with the local Mahindra dealership. He claims that the wheel coming off was a manufacturing defect. Naturally, the owner is scared to drive the Scorpio-N now and demands a replacement vehicle or repayment of the full amount he paid (including registration and other costs). So far, Mahindra has not officially commented on the incident. As the reports of faulty Mahindra Scorpio-N spread on social media, it might impact trust in the brand itself.
