Fitted with a 17.3 kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery pack, the MG Comet EV is propelled by an electric motor that delivers 41 hp and 110 Nm of peak power and torque. The practical battery provides an impressive range of 230 km on a single charge. The 4-seat layout, constructed on the GSEV platform, reflects MG’s dedication to innovation.
Featuring a 7-hour charge time using a standard AC charger and three drive modes, the Comet EV seamlessly combines efficiency with performance. Positioned as the most accessible electric vehicle in the country, the MG Comet EV offers three variants – Pace, Play, and Plush. Interestingly, Shetty chose the Comet EV over the ZS EV, another offering from MG Motor India. The compact dimensions of the Comet EV contribute to its distinctive presence among other electric cars. Priced between ₹7.98 lakh and ₹9.98 lakh (ex-showroom), it makes eco-friendly driving easily attainable.
