The 5-door practical version of the recently unveiled Maruti Jimny SUV is getting popular among the general public as we take a look at the rear legroom. Rear Legroom in 5-Door Maruti Jimny
The video showcases a man of average height sitting in the rear seat. There is enough room for the man to stretch his legs as well as decent headroom. The width of the cabin supports two passengers abreast quite comfortably. Squeezing in the third passenger could be a bit of a struggle. Being a tall SUV, height won’t be a problem for the vast majority of car buyers. The extra wheelbase has certainly been utilised quite well not just for the second row, but also for the boot compartment with usable 208 litres.

Interior and Features
At the rear, the tailgate-mounted spare tyre reassures that feeling of a Jeep, and the horizontally aligned tail-lamps are old-school as well. Also, there is a quarter glass because this is the 5-door version. On the inside, there is a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro+, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Arkamys Surround Sound, stylish AC vents, steering-mounted control, and a MID instrument cluster, among other amenities. There are 6 Airbags, Hill Hold Assist with Hill Descent Control, Brake Limited Slip Differential and more safety features.

Jimny comes powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol K15B engine that produces a decent 104.8 PS and 134.2 Nm of peak power and torque. There are options of a 5-speed MT and a 4-speed AT gearbox. More importantly, the Jimmy comes with a dedicated ALLGRIP PRO 4×4 drivetrain with a low-range transfer case. The SUV weighs 1,195 – 1,210 kg (kerb) and has a ground clearance of 210 mm. The front and the rear suspension is the 3-link Rigid Axle tyre with coil spring. What are your thoughts on this?
