This Maruti Jimny 5-door Dakar Rally Edition represents the zenith of the digital artist’s imagination. Digital automobile artists have a knack for creating thought-provoking illustrations of popular vehicles. This is the latest example of that trend. Jimny is one of the most popular off-roading SUVs in the world. It has been around for over 5 decades in the international market. However, this is the first time it is available in a 5-door guise specifically for India. Now, it is being exported to other countries from here as well. 5-Door Maruti Jimny Dakar Rally Edition
This video comes from Bimble Designs on YouTube. It captures the essence of the iconic Dakar Rally. Hardcore rally drivers dream of competing in this race. For that, one needs a capable off-roader with appropriate modifications and customizations. While this might just be a digital version, it looks perfectly capable of participating in that race, at least from an aesthetic standpoint. Firstly, the entire exterior body is covered in graphics and stickers of the sponsors. At the front, it gets a rugged grille, round headlamps, multiple hood scoops, a bumper cutout from the extreme edges, and a working snorkel. You would find all these elements on the real version as well.

Apart from that, even the side profile is visible. There is a handy roof carrier with auxiliary lights. The windows behind the driver are painted white. One gets to witness the sheer height of the Jimny with a raised suspension and a lift kit. The alloy wheels are colossal along with off-road-focused tyres. There are flaring wheel arches and solid side steps to facilitate ingress and egress for the passengers. The rear section consists of a bootlid-mounted spare tyre, a sturdy bumper with horizontal taillamps and Dakar monikers at various places. All in all, this has to be one of the most accurate digital illustrations of the 5-door Maruti Jimny.
