The 5-door Mahindra Thar Armada has been leaked in real life which is where the digital artists are taking inspiration from to come up with exciting iterations in the virtual realm.
This latest rendering of the 5-door Mahindra Thar Armada seeks inspiration from the recently leaked images of the actual model. I have reported the 5-door iteration of the Thar testing across the Indian roads for a long time now. In fact, the off-roading SUV will offer the same capabilities as the regular model despite the extended wheelbase. Apart from that, the interior space will see an increase along with a larger boot compartment. For now, let us relish the SUV in a digital illustration.

This compelling iteration stems from Bagrawala Designs on YouTube. The artist has gone deep into his skillset to pull off a remarkable concept. The extended wheelbase is apparent from the side profile. Also, the large alloy wheels with a new design pattern look striking. The concept SUV even gets side steps to enhance the ingress and egress characteristics for the occupants. Apart from that, the rear doors get the handles on the C-pillars and the black rooftop looks sporty. I particularly like the massive wheel arches which define the appearance of the imposing SUV.
At the rear, the artist has given a rugged and tough bumper to this 5-door Mahindra Thar Armada. The LED taillamps are similar to the regular Thar and so is the bootlid-mounted spare tyre. The front section is evidently inspired by the recently leaked image of the off-roader. This gets round LED headlamps with integrated C-shaped LED DRLs, a redesigned front grille (to distinguish it from the regular Thar and Jeep Wrangler) and a sturdy bumper. The clamshell bonnet confirms its retro roots and the colossal fender layout means business. All in all, this might be a pretty accurate digital rendition of the upcoming off-roading SUV.
Our View
I appreciate the efforts the digital artist has put into this illustration. It takes experienced personnel to ensure that the virtual version doesn’t go overboard. It is easy to be extravagant due to the lack of physical limitations. But I must admit this latest 5-door Thar looks like it has just come off the production line. Nevertheless, we are eagerly waiting for the final version to hit the showrooms after many months of watching the test mule across various parts of the country.
