Maruti Ertiga comes with a BS6 compliant petrol engine only, priced from Rs 7.59 Lakhs up to Rs 10.13 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Maruti Ertiga is the sole contender in its budget MPV class. There’s Renault Triber which is even cheaper but also a lot smaller. Then there is the Mahindra Marazzo, which is costlier and slightly more premium. Marazzo might be a contender for the XL6.
There are three manufacturers that are trying to focus on Ertiga’s space. A 7-seater car is practical with big families and the price range of Rs 8 Lakh to 12 Lakhs fits in appropriately. Also, Ertiga is the best selling MPV in India with very close competition from the Innova Crysta.
