MG Motor India has four new launches scheduled for 2020 and 2021. The list includes cars expected to range from Rs 11 Lakhs to Rs 45 Lakhs.
MG showcased a lot of cars at the Auto Expo 2020, many of them scheduled to come to India. After launching the Hector and ZS EV, MG has plans for more 4 cars within the next two years. We have seen these cars in full flesh at the Expo.
Besides that, we have gotten the confirmation of all these products due to launch in their original timelines. MG has cleared that despite the coronavirus outbreak, their launches are not delayed and are on time. So, here is the detailed list of upcoming MG cars:
4 New Upcoming Cars From MG
MG Gloster
MG Gloster is the full-size SUV that will be priced between Rs 25 Lakhs to Rs 40 Lakhs. It is actually a direct rival for Land Cruiser Prado in terms of size, but will be a cheaper alternative to it. Nearly half the price. It comes with a 2.0 Litre turbo-petrol and a 2.0 Litre turbo-diesel engine. The launch is expected around October 2020, during Diwali season.

MG Hector Plus
The bigger and more practical version of Hector is set to launch shortly. It is scheduled to be launched in India in the July-August period. Hector Plus will be available as a 6-seater and a 7-seater. With some cosmetic changes and the same petrol and diesel engines, it is expected to demand a Lakh and a half more than the regular Hector variants.

MG G10
Another exciting product from MG that caught a lot of attention at the Expo is the G10. Basically, a rebadged version of Maxus G10, the MG’s upcoming luxury MPV will sit between Innova Crysta and Kia Carnival. In the global market, it gets a 2.0 Litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.9 Litre diesel engine.
- Launch – March 2021
- Expected Price – Rs 18 to 30 Lakhs
MG ZS
The ICE-powered version of the MG ZS EV is India-bound. ZS will become the entry-level car from MG Motor, rivalling with the likes of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Globally, it is available with a 1.3 Litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5 Litre naturally aspired unit. There are reports also suggesting that 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol is also in the making.
