In essence, it represents the premium luxury range of SUVs with a sloping roofline toward the rear. Tata Curvv
The first coupe SUV on this list is the Tata Curvv. It has been expected to launch in our market for a long time now. In fact, Tata Motors showcased the diesel variant of the Curvv at the Bharat Mobility Expo a couple of months ago. It will have an extended rear section which will lend it an incredible road presence. It will be one of those models from the Indian auto giant which will have IC engines, as well as an electric powertrain. However, its design is bound to make heads turn. It could borrow powertrains from the Nexon. While the front fascia looks somewhat similar to the Nexon and Punch SUVs, the tail section is completely new with a connected LED taillamp and an extended bootlid.

Renault Basalt
Renault showcased the Basalt Vision concept last month. It will bear a coupe body silhouette and be based on the same platform as the C3. In terms of the design elements, it has a familiar front fascia reminiscent of the C3 range. The LED DRLs are on the bonnet, while the main headlamp cluster is on the sides. Also, the front grille, bifurcated into two separate sections ooze a sporty vibe. There is also a study skid plate at the front. However, the key details lie in the side profile with sturdy body cladding and a sloping roofline. The bootlid is slanting with LED taillamps, a skid plate and a shark fin antenna. All in all, it boasts an impressive road presence.
Mahindra XUV.e9
Finally, I am quite excited about the Mahindra XUV.e9 as it has been testing for a while now. It will be a coupe version of the existing XUV700. Hence, we can anticipate massive dimensions. Also, it will be an electric SUV. Slated for launch soon, it will mark the beginning of a new era for the Indian automobile giant in the electric mobility space. Stylistically, it will borrow a lot of elements from the XUV700, particularly at the front, but the rear section will be totally fresh. That is where the coupe silhouette becomes evident.
