This 3-door Toyota Fortuner SWB reveals what digital automobiles are capable of producing in this day and age. The Fortuner holds its position as the country’s premier 7-seat off-road vehicle, often seen as a symbol of ambition. It’s renowned for reliability, remarkable off-road performance, and durability. These are key factors which shape consumers’ decisions. However, the SUV’s prices, particularly in recent times, have experienced a considerable surge. In fact, the top-tier Fortuner model now commands an ex-showroom price surpassing Rs 50 lakh. Let’s delve into the specifics of this SWB version of the SUV.

3-door Toyota Fortuner SWB
This video comes from SRK Designs on YouTube. The prominent digital automobile designer comes up with a rather unique version of the mega-popular SUV. He takes the regular Fortuner and converts it into a smaller SWB (Small Wheelbase) version. In doing so, the artist takes out the rear doors to make it a 3-door model. The overall silhouette of the front and rear profiles look identical to the regular model but the side profile is unique. The alloy wheels are quite stylish and modern. The side step is now slightly shorter due to the reduction in the length.

To lend it an adventurous demeanour, the SUV has a black compartment on the roof which can carry equipment for any sporting activity. The side windows are black and the black roof offers a floating roof effect. Thankfully, the wheel arches remain similar to the regular model. The spare tyre is mounted on the boot lid. I can also see a tow hook beneath the rear bumper to enhance its practicality during off-roading scenarios. All in all, this SWB Toyota Fortuner retains the DNA of the stock Fortuner but comes in a more city-friendly version.

Author’s Note
I am quite certain that we won’t get to witness such a version of the mighty Fortuner in real life anytime soon. That is what makes this digital illustration so special. The virtual realm is not bound by physical limitations. As a result, the designer can let his/her imagination run wild. Hence, we get fresh versions of prominent cars which break the cycle of monotony. This gives the enthusiasts an opportunity to look at a familiar product with a new lens. I encourage such digital creativity which brings forth such attractive versions of age-old cars.
