The 2025 Toyota Fortuner might be a bit far away, but digital automobile artists have commenced creating enticing iterations already. Fortuner is arguably the best 7-seat off-roader in our country. Not just that, it has proven its mettle in many international markets across the globe. However, the current-gen model is in need of an upgrade. In India, this is particularly true when considering the fact that Ford might make a comeback in our market with the new Everest (Endeavour). Hence, a modern avatar of the Fortuner will be needed to rival the American SUV.
2025 Toyota Fortuner Concept
This digital illustration stems from malvinwsetiawan on Instagram. The designer has introduced the elements of the newly revealed Toyota 4Runner in the international markets. That is why you see this SUV wearing the silhouette of the 4Runner. At the front, it gets a rugged and upright bonnet with a hood scoop and prominent contours which neatly merge into the large grille, there is a Toyota lettering flanked by a chrome belt which merges into LED DRLs integrated into the sleek LED headlamp cluster and a sturdy bumper area with a tough skid plate.
On the sides, this SUV gets a boxy stance and roof rails, black side pillars, square wheel arches with ginormous cladding, side steps to enhance the ingress and egress characteristics, black door handles and ORVMs and a long overhang. The colossal alloy wheels fit the large wheel arches well and accentuate the road presence of the SUV. Unfortunately, I am not able to write anything about the rear profile since it is not visible in this rendition. Nevertheless, I like the hint of the new 4Runner on the Toyota Fortuner.
Our View
I doubt if the upcoming 2025 Toyota Fortuner will look anything like this. Still, such virtual renditions offer us a glimpse of something other than the monotonous design the existing models carry. The design language itself is not boring. But having to look at it over and over again every day warrants something refreshing. That is when such digital concepts come into the picture. While carmakers don’t need any inspiration from such digital versions, these could trigger some ideas which could make it into production in some form.
