The 2025 Skoda Kylaq Classic base model has been detailed in this video. Kylaq is the latest mass-market product from the Czech auto giant. It belongs to the rapidly expanding compact SUV segment. It is one of the most crowded categories at the moment. All major carmakers offer some model in this space. That makes the task of attracting new buyers quite challenging. Still, Skoda has borrowed most elements from the larger Kushaq mid-size SUV to ensure that potential customers get an enticing deal. At the front, it gets an imposing fascia with a contoured bonnet, sleek DRLs, LED headlamps on the bumper, a black piano grille, and matte black elements on the bumper. On the sides, the SUV offers 16-inch steel wheels with matte black wheel arches and side body claddings along with black B-pillars and faux roof rails. This mill pairs with a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission. However, the base trim solely gets the manual gearbox. Skoda claims a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 188 km/h. Also, the ARAI-claimed mileage is 19.68 km/l with the manual gearbox. The overall price range starts at Rs 7.89 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 14.40 lakh, ex-showroom.
