The 2025 Skoda compact SUV has been digitally rendered by a prominent digital artist. Skoda is planning to enter the highly competitive compact SUV segment in our market. Currently, this space has top players like Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Hence, to make a mark in this category, Skoda will need to come up with something truly exciting at an affordable price point, the latest features and powerful engine options. It will use its MQB A0 IN platform, which also underpins the Kushaq and Slavia along with VW Taigun and VW Virtus. Let us take a look at the details of this virtual avatar of the upcoming Skoda compact SUV which could come to India by March next year (2025).

2025 Skoda Compact SUV Visualized
This illustration comes from SRK Designs on YouTube. The artist has taken inspiration from the regular Skoda design language. At the front, it gets a sleek pair of LED DRLs and LED headlamps on the bonnet and an additional LED DLR pair on the edges of the bumper. At the centre, there is a large grille with vertical slats and a dark chrome frame. Underneath the sporty bumper lies a rugged skid plate to protect the underbelly of the SUV along with lending a butch vibe.
On the sides, the artist has kept the profile curve-free. There is just a single crease which runs from the front fender to the taillamp. That is in line with the latest Skoda design language. Apart from that, there are gigantic alloy wheels with an attractive dual-tone colour theme and striking pattern. To accentuate the ruggedness, there are also black side skirtings with a chrome belt. The A and B pillars are black and there are also handy roof rails to attach your luggage. Unfortunately, there are no signs of the rear profile in this rendition.

Author’s Note
While a lot of details are not available yet, we can make some logical assumptions. Being a sub-4m SUV, it will benefit from lower taxes. Moreover, if Skoda powers it with the 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, the overall cost could be lower because the tax for cars with a smaller engine than 1.2-litre petrol is lower. Finally, the localization of spare parts as a part of the Indian 2.0 strategy from VW-Skoda Group will ensure lower maintenance costs. In fact, Skoda is calling this an India 2.5 initiative. As of now, there are no plans for a VW counterpart. We shall keep updating our readers about it as more details emerge further down the line.
