With the recent update, the 2025 MG Astor is available in 4 variants – Sprint, Shine, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro. Recognizing the demand, MG is offering panoramic sunroof from Shine trim onwards making it the only SUV with this feature under Rs 12.50 lakh. Apart from that, the Select version takes things a notch higher with the addition of 6 airbags and premium ivory leatherette seats. Also, MG claims that the Astor is the first SUV in India with AI inside. The prices start from Rs 9.99 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 17.56 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2025 MG Astor continues to offer two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.3-litre turbo petrol mill. The power and torque outputs stand at 110 PS / 144 Nm and 140 PS / 220 Nm, respectively. The former comes with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic, while the latter is available solely with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Note that the turbo petrol mill can only be had with the top-of-the-line Savvy Pro variant. All in all, the 2025 MG Astor remains an enticing proposition amidst stiff competition.
