The 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift was recently seen testing on public roads. The Magnite is solely responsible for the success of Nissan in India. Prior to that, there were no mass-market products from the Japanese carmaker with such reach. It was only after Magnite achieved massive success that the carmaker even started exporting it from India to various parts of the world. Launched in 2020, there were no significant updates to the compact SUV all these years. Hence, a facelift was long overdue. Let us take a look at the details here.

2024 Nissan Magnite Facelift Spotted Testing
These images were shared by a user on the Nissan – Lord Of The Roads page on Facebook. The SUV is under thick camouflage. Still, we recognize the overall silhouette. This also confirms that apart from a few aesthetic alterations, the new Magnite won’t be too far away from the existing model. But that is true for all facelift cars. On the outside, they get cosmetic changes, while the cabin generally gets a few new features. In these images, we are able to witness a steeply raked rear windshield, prominent alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper and washer and an upright stance.

Specs
Since this is just a regular facelift, we don’t expect to see any changes to the existing powertrain options. It will most likely continue to get a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol mill which generate 72 hp / 96 Nm and 98 hp / 160 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. There are options of choosing between either a 5-speed manual, an AMT or a CVT automatic gearbox. All these engine-transmission combinations will most likely make it to the facelift model too.
