2024 Maruti Swift in Green Colour
These images arrive from shota0306m on Instagram. These capture the successful hatchback at what looks like some sort of an event. Still, the new Swift is visible in all its glory. First of all, let us address the unique paint scheme on this Swift. It is a mix of bright green, fluorescent and yellow. The black stripes on the side body panels look adventurous. In fact, this sporty colour suits the hatchback. Apart from that, we witness a new headlamp cluster with integrated LED DRLs and a large grille in the centre with glossy black elements.

Furthermore, the hatchback gets a sporty new bumper with a sturdy skid plate-like element to accentuate the toughness. There are fog lamps on the extreme corners of the bumper. This version gets a dual-tone finish with a black roof and side pillars. The side profile is further elevated by the sporty black alloy wheels. At the rear, there is a roof-mounted spoiler, a traditional antenna, a sporty bumper and sleek LED taillamps. All in all, this new Swift certainly carries a lot of its DNA from the pre-facelift model. Still, there are enough changes to the exterior to set it apart from the old model.

A big change is happening with the introduction of a new engine, moving away from the usual K Series engine found in the Swift and other Maruti cars. The upcoming Z Series engine has different versions, and the one revealed at the Japan Mobility Show is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder hybrid engine, offering an impressive mileage of around 30-35 km/l. Even though the power remains similar to the current model, there’s a noticeable increase in torque, making for a more exciting performance at low speeds. However, we don’t expect this engine in the Indian version because of cost reasons. Instead, we might get the new Z-Series engine with mild hybrid technology.
