Swift is a hatchback that needs no introduction, especially in India. It has become a household name for years now. What is even more impressive is the fact that it still sells like hot cakes despite being in production for so many years. Of course, Maruti has been constantly updating it with the latest tech and styling. Now, it has been a while since we saw any update on the Swift. 2024 Maruti Swift Leaked?
According to this video, the new Swift will feature distinct styling changes on the outside and a ton of new features on the inside. The exterior images look like some sort of rendition that features sleek elements like the LED headlamps, aggressively sculpted fog lamp housing, sporty bumper, and large radiator grille at the lower half of the face with a chrome bar on it just like we see in the current version. The side profile might be somewhat similar to the existing model. The tail section carries the aggressive design with slim LED taillamps that extended to the sides connected by a black glass strip and a sporty bumper.

On the inside, the Swift could get a redesigned digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system, changes to the dashboard layout, the new Connected Car Tech features, redesigned centre console and HVAC buttons like we have seen on the new Baleno, premium upholstery, at least of the top trims and much more. However, we will have to wait to get an official confirmation from Maruti regarding the specific updates to the new model.

Although the information in the video mentions the 1.4-litre engine, we believe the new Swift could continue with the existing 1.2-litre NA petrol engine with a mild hybrid setup that develops 88 hp and 113 Nm of peak power and torque. As far as the transmission goes, we will most likely see the same 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox as on the current-gen model. Currently, the prices range between Rs 5.92 lakh and Rs 8.85 lakh, ex-showroom. The updated model will command a slight premium over these prices.
