The latest information about the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift reaching the dealership is doing rounds on the internet. While there have been a few spy images of the test mule, a sans-camo version is yet to surface. Still, based on the existing Sonet, the Seltos facelift and some spy images from China, many automobile content creators have developed a photoshopped version of the compact SUV. While these don’t replicate the original design, they might be quite close. Some reports suggest that the model will be unveiled in the coming weeks and the launch might take place in January 2024. Let us take a look at the details of the upcoming compact SUV here.

This video comes from Harsh VLOGS on YouTube. As per the information in this video and some other spy media, the major change will be to the rear profile. This will include a connected LED light bar joining the LED taillamps. Apart from that, these images also show a rugged skid plate element underneath a sporty bumper with reflector lights. Moreover, the alloy wheels will bear a fresh pattern. At the front, it will carry LED headlamps with a new LED DRL theme, a broad Tiger Nose grille, LED fog lamps, the frame around the grille inspired by Seltos, and a muscular bonnet. Author’s Note
The compact SUV segment in our country is already bustling with numerous models. However, the Sonet is undeniably one of the most feature-rich options available. In this segment, the upcoming Sonet will rival the champions of this space including the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon. In order to stand out from the crowd, Kia needs to bring its A-game. This will include countless modern amenities and connectivity features. Also, the fact that it will offer a diesel engine is impressive too. We shall keep an eye out for the launch of the Sonet facelift. As far as these images go, they don’t look real to us.
