The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift was about to launch today, but its has been leaked hours before the event. The three images showcase the Tech-Line, X-Line and and GT-Line. So far, we’ve encountered the test mule multiple times, and it’s getting ready to compete directly with industry giants like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Brezza. To stand out from the competition, the Korean powerhouse plans to reveal a more daring design and integrate state-of-the-art technology and connectivity choices. Moreover, the Sonet will include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to enhance its active safety features. Let us take a look at what the facelift model looks like.

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Leaked
The exterior of the facelift version is fresh enough for anyone to make out that this is not the pre-facelift model. At the front, you’ll notice 7-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) encircling the streamlined LED headlamp cluster (reminiscent of the XUV300), horizontal LED fog lamps (vertical in the GT-Line trim), a revamped grille, and a dynamic bumper. The Tiger Nose grille lends hints of the Seltos facelift. There are chrome elements on the grille which differ in pattern depending on the variant. Also, the alloy wheels look sporty and modern. In essence, there will be noticeable distinctions between the present and upcoming models.

Paint Options
As per the leaked brochure, the upcoming 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is poised to introduce a novel colour choice known as Pewter Olive, coincidentally mirroring the latest Seltos model. The colour palette will encompass Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, and Clear White. Additionally, the refreshed Sonet will present two dual-tone combinations: Intense Red/Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl/Aurora Black Pearl. It’s worth highlighting that the Matte Graphite paint shade will be exclusively available with the X-Line trim.

Interior and Features
Just like the pre-facelift model, the interior and tech features will play a key role in distinguishing the Sonet from its competition. These include a dual-connected display—one for infotainment and another for the driver’s instrument cluster. Just beneath the infotainment screen, there are AC vents that contribute to an upscale atmosphere. Notably, physical buttons for HVAC and multimedia control are placed between the AC vents, a commendable design choice. I particularly appreciate the stylish touch added by the sporty stitching on the steering wheel. However, the standout feature in this video is the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Considering Hyundai’s recent introduction of ADAS in the Venue, it’s likely that the Sonet, as its sibling, will also incorporate this technology. The boot space is a generous 385 litres. All these elements combined suggest that the Sonet will come equipped with top-notch features.
