This post comes from The Car Show on YouTube. It captures a complete walkaround tour of the facelift Creta. Typical of spy images, the SUV is wrapped in a heavy camouflage. Nevertheless, one could make out from the silhouette that this is the facelift model. Interestingly, these images reveal quite a few details. There are front sensors and a radar. This means that the new Creta will have the ADAS active safety features. That has become a trend in the SUVs of this segment. Apart from that, the alloy wheels are clearly visible. They carry a new design pattern.

Additionally, it will continue to bear the split-LED configuration with LED DRLs on the bonnet and the main headlamp cluster on the bumper. That eliminates the need for dedicated fog lamps, a trend common in modern cars. Moreover, the dimensions of the new Creta will most likely remain unchanged. At the rear, the LED taillamps seem to be inspired by the IONIQ 5. There are also sequential turn indicators. We reckon that will be the case only on the top trim. All in all, the design language would definitely be modern like we have seen in the Verna.

Specs
Much like the updated Kia Seltos, the 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift is set to introduce a new 1.5-litre GDI turbo-petrol engine option, replacing the previously available 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. The choice of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a turbo-diesel engine will remain on offer. These three engines will deliver different power and torque outputs, with figures standing at 160 PS / 253 Nm, 115 PS / 144 Nm, and 115 PS / 250 Nm respectively. When it comes to transmissions, you’ll have a range of options to suit your preference, including a 6-speed automatic, IVT, 6-speed IMT, and 7-speed DCT, depending on the specific model. It’s worth noting that the new turbo-petrol engine not only offers more power but also boasts improved fuel efficiency when compared to the now-discontinued 1.4-litre alternative.
