Design
The revamped Hyundai Creta facelift adopts Hyundai’s Global Design Language, known as ‘Sensuous Sportiness,’ resulting in a more assertive and daring appearance. This SUV strives to surpass the expectations of contemporary customers through updated design elements, enhanced premium interiors, and robust powertrains. According to CarBlogIndia, the front end features a more boxy profile, deviating from the Tucson-like look of the global version. However, it still benefits from the parametric grille and modern LED lighting fixtures. The rear is equipped with connected LED taillamps, aligning with the latest models from HMIL.
Inside the vehicle, numerous upgrades are evident. The dashboard has a fresh design with a twin-screen layout, resembling the Alcazar’s digital infotainment screen. There are strong indications that the SUV will incorporate Level-2 ADAS and a variety of other new features. Specs and Safety
The upcoming Creta will be available with three engine choices. The base model will retain the 1.5-litre MPI petrol engine, and the 1.5-litre U2 CRDI Diesel engine will also be part of the lineup. However, the previous 1.4-litre Turbo GDI Petrol engine will be replaced by a 1.5-litre unit already found in the Verna. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, IVT, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed automatic.
As mentioned earlier, the Hyundai Creta facelift is expected to feature Level-2 ADAS. This implies that the new vehicle will come equipped with advanced active and passive safety features, ensuring comprehensive protection. The Creta was the pioneer in its segment to offer 6 airbags as standard. Importantly, all the safety features present in the outgoing version will also be retained in the facelift.
