Even though the Pulsar NS400 Z has been off to a strong start, Bajaj Auto Ltd is in no mood to rest on its laurels. Instead, it’s in the process of refreshing the entire Pulsar range. Last month, the N250 received a handful of updates and now, its sibling, the F250, has been refreshed. With this, all the rumours of the Pune-based manufacturer giving up on the semi-faired motorcycle owing to dismal demand can be quashed. Interestingly, though, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 costs the same as its streetnaked sibling. Read on as I take you through all the details of the new model.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250: Updates
- All-Digital Instrument Cluster
- Bluetooth Support
- Turn-by-Turn Navigation through Bajaj Ride Connect App
- Petal Disc Brakes at front and rear
- Wider Rear Tyre
- ABS with 3 modes
A video that was recent Youtube video gives us a good look at the new F250. While the updates on this motorcycle aren’t as comprehensive as those on the N250, they’re still quite significant. The biggest change comes in the form of the new all-digital instrument cluster that replaces the semi-digital infinity console. The new display offers Bluetooth support, thereby introducing a feature that was conspicuous by its absence until now. Thanks to the new connectivity option, the display can no provide call/SMS alerts along with turn-by-turn navigation guidance through the Bajaj Ride Connect App. In accordance with this, the switchgear has been updated to let you toggle through the new menu.
The braking system gets a major update in the form of petal disc brakes at front and rear. The sizes, though, stay the same at 300 mm and 230 mm at front and rear, respectively. Just like the N250, the F250 comes with 110- and 140-section tires at the front and rear, respectively. Previously, the motorcycle came with a 130-section rear tyre. Finally, like the N250, the F250 now offers three ABS modes – Rain, Road and Sport.

No USDs or Extra Power but Attractive Price
- Misses out on Upside Down Forks
- No 250 Badges Seen on N250
- Same engine specs as before
- Priced at par with MY2024 N250
Aesthetically, there’s been no change to the Bajaj Pulsar F250. It features the same semi-fairing with the same LED headlamp. It even retains the same set of features. In fact, in all likelihood, even the paint options viz. Red and Black will stay the same. But what leaves me pretty surprised is that unlike the 2024 N250, the F250 misses out on the Upside Down Forks. While I don’t mind the absence of any design change, the omission of USDs is certainly disheartening. Even the engine specifications remain the same. The 249.07cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected motor continues to belt out 24.1 bhp of maximum power and 21.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine works in tandem with a 5-speed transmission.
As per the above vidoe, the new motorcycle will cost Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the F250 will cost pretty much the same as the N250. Even though it will lack the USDs, the additional visual bulk from the fairing certainly makes the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 look bigger than the N250. We will come up with more details once Bajaj shares official information on the new motorcycle with us. Stay tuned!
