The sub-compact SUV market is abuzz with excitement on the new Tata Nexon. A recent nighttime video showcases the upcoming 2023 Tata Nexon facelift. The new video, which shows the interior, gives us a clear look at two highlights of the cabin: the 360-degree camera system on the new 10.25-inch infotainment unit and the new all-digital instrument cluster. The video not only provides a glimpse of these modern features but also shows how the cabin has got a premium look during the nighttime driving.

Of course, the bigger highlight of the video is the new 10.25-inch infotainment screen that replaces the smaller unit available on the earlier model. The bigger screen, which comes from the Nexon EV Max, offers a wide-angle HD view. It even offers a 360-degree camera system, a feature generally available on much costlier cars. Other important features that the infotainment unit will offer include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The modern infotainment unit is flanked by a modern all-digital instrument cluster that replaces the old monochrome digital display of the outgoing model. This high-definition display offers a wealth of information, including the vehicle speed, engine RPM, fuel levels, and much more. The instrument cluster is even likely to offer customizable layouts and color schemes.

Specifications
Other than a fresher cabin, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will offer a new petrol engine option. The upcoming model will come with a brand-new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. This new engine will have an impressive power output of 125 PS and a maximum torque of 225 Nm, the latter being a significant improvement over the current motor’s output. In all likelihood, a dual-clutch automatic option will be available with this engine variant. For those who prefer diesel power, Tata Motors will continue to offer the current 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering 110 PS of power and maximum torque of 260 Nm. Transmission options for this engine will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

New Nexon Launch Date
The 2023 Tata Nexon will debut on September 14th. Even though the second facelift for the SUV isn’t a generational transition, the update brings in some major enhancements. Akin to before, the sub-4-metre SUV will rival Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.
