Tata Harrier facelift launch is around the corner as digital automobile artists are beginning to illustrate designs using their creativity.
In this latest digital iteration, the Tata Harrier facelift has been revealed. Harrier is a popular premium mid-size SUV that has been a popular product ever since its launch. However, with the increase in competition in this segment, its sales have taken a hit. To counter that, Tata Motors is in the process of testing the facelift model that is reported to get a ton of modern tech features to enhance its appeal. Until that model appears in the flesh, we will have to make do with digital illustrations like these.

This time, the design house has produced a modern version of the Harrier. At the front, one can’t miss the obvious inspiration from the Land Rover. An intricately detailed sleek grille culminates into the sleek LED DRLs on either side of the wide bonnet.

In addition to that, the bumper looks quite sturdy with LED headlamps flanking it on the extreme edges, and the rugged skid plate at the front makes the SUV look bold, imposing and hardcore. Sadly, there is just the front fascia visible in this video post. We would’ve loved to see the side and the rear profiles too. Nevertheless, the dual-tone theme with a black roof looks enticing and sporty. All in all, there are no polarising changes, and one could see these elements making it to the production-spec model.

Specs
The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that makes 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried by a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. According to the latest reports, Tata Motors is working on a facelift that could even feature ADAS functions which is slowly becoming the standard, at least in this segment of the industry. Speculations abound that the SUV will receive 4×4 drivetrain or turbo petrol engine. But we will have to wait for any confirmation on that.
