Same Looks, No Petrol Option
The 2023 Tata Harrier will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine (sourced from FCA meeting BSVI stage 2 emission standards) that outputs a maximum power output of 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. You can also opt for a six-speed torque converter automatic unit. Unlike what was initially expected, a petrol mill won’t be on offer. Even the exterior has been left untouched with not even a nip and tuck for the soft parts.
Many New Features
The midsize SUV, however, will come many new features like ADAS-based technologies such as forward collision warning, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, lane change alert, door open alert, rear cross-traffic alert, rear collision warning, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, and autonomous emergency braking. The dashboard will house a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. There is also an all-new seven-inch TFT instrument console.
