The Hyundai i20 is getting a new facelift. Now, details of the updated model have surfaced in a new walkaround video.
Hyundai Motor India has finally launched the much-awaited i20 facelift. It comes with several updates on the outside and inside. The premium hatchback comes in five variants – Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). It will be available with a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). 2023 Hyundai i20
As you can see in the above video, the new Hyundai i20 features a more sporty aesthetic. It comes with a redesigned front grille along with black surrounds. The redesigned front bumper gets arrow-shaped air functional vents. It also features a bigger Hyundai logo that has been placed at the top of the bumper. On the back, the updated version gets a new gloss black element and a silver skid plate. However, it retains the Z-shaped LED taillights. Additionally, the Asta and Asta (O) variants feature new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
On the inside, the new 2023 Hyundai i20 Facelift retains the outgoing model’s dashboard along with the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. However, the company has replaced the all-black theme with a dual-tone design. While the top half is black, the bottom part comes with a light grey colour finish. Additional features include an air purifier, a digitised driver’s display, and a sunroof. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The new car is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that offers a maximum of 83 PS of peak power and 114 Nm of max torque. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The company also offers an IVT transmission option that provides up to 88 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. Safety features on the car include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist control, vehicle stability management, day-night IRVM, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage. Additionally, three-point seatbelts have been added for all passengers.
