2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift Review
The major design changes lie on the front end of the mid-size SUV. It will carry the appealing design philosophy of the Korean carmaker that we saw in the recently launched flagship SUV, the Tucson. This means that the massive parametric front grille with dark chrome elements will make its appearance in the new Creta, the LED DRLs will be integrated seamlessly into the grille and will only be visible when they are turned ON, the main LED headlamp cluster will sit on the bumper much like the existing model, the bumper will be slightly redesigned. This lends a modern approach to the SUV.

The sides will largely remain unchanged from the current model and that is only a good thing. At the rear, there might be tweaked taillamps and bumper. In terms of the cabin and features, the overall layout will most likely remain the same. However, we might see the introduction of some ADAS features as hinted earlier. This might include features like a Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Mitigation and more. Also, we might get the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto this time around.

Specs
We don’t expect any changes to the powertrain options for the 2023 Creta. This means that it will still come with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol unit that produces 115 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque, a diesel engine is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit that also produces 115 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque and an exciting 1.4-litre turbo-petrol T-GDI engine that produces 143 PS and 242 Nm and comes with a 7-speed DCT. The 6-speed manual CVT automatic transmission options are available as well. The prices of the current-gen Creta range from Rs 10.44 lakh and Rs 18.18 lakh, ex-showroom. There will most likely be a premium over these for the new model.
