Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Xtreme 200S 4V bike in the Indian market. It comes with a 200cc single-cylinder oil-cooled 4V engine.
The 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is now available for purchase in India. Hero MotoCorp has finally revealed the price of the much-awaited bike. It comes with a starting price of Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new motorbike will compete with the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer SF, Yamaha R15, and Bajaj Pulsar RS200. In comparison to the old 2V model, the 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V comes with several updates to the powertrain and design. Let’s take a closer look.

2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V Specs
The faired bike is powered by a 199.6 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled 4V engine that outputs 18.9 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 17.35 Nm of max torque at 6,500 rpm (up from 17.8 bhp/ 16.45 Nm offered by old 2V model). For transmission, it is paired with a 5-speed constant mesh. The 4V oil-cooled engine also gets Hero’s XSense technology. It is said to be OBD2 compliant and E20 compliant. The same engine can be found on Xpulse 200 4V and 200 T.
In terms of design, the 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V features a sharp headlamp section with a transparent windscreen. It gets a compact tail section with a seat height of 795 mm. You can see halogen turn indicators poking out of the fairing. Additional highlights include a single-piece seat design, a 12.8L fuel tank, a black-finished engine area, a side-mounted exhaust system, a rear tyre hugger, and multi-spoke 17-inch black alloy wheels with red stickering.

Features & Colours
The new bike gets a new fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity enabling SMS and call alerts. It gets front and rear disc brakes. Additional features include turn-by-turn navigation, telescopic front forks, seven-step pre-load adjustable mono-shock rear suspension, and a clip-on handlebar. Customers can choose from three colour schemes – Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Stealth Edition. Hero also plans to launch the new generation Karizma XMR 210 with a 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It is expected to arrive by March 2024.
