2023 Ford Endeavour – Prado Killer?
The exterior of the SUV has been made much beefier and more muscular compared to the outgoing model. The front fascia boasts of an upright stance, sleek C-shaped LED DRLs surrounding the matrix LED headlamps (on the top Platinum spec), dual chrome strips on the grille extending across the face, sporty and rugged bumper with a skid plate to give it a prominent look. The side profile features stylish alloy wheels, sidestepping for easier ingress and egress, functional roof rails, prominent wheel arches and functional air vents at the back of the fenders. The tail end features the most changes when seen side by side with the outgoing model. The LED taillamps are connected by a glossy black glass slab with Ford or Platinum inscription on it (depending on the trim). The front and rear overhangs are short to accentuate its off-roading characteristics.

The international model’s powertrain options include a 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel, a 2.0-litre turbo diesel and a 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol, depending on which international market is receiving this model. The choice of transmissions includes either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. There is plenty of off-roading kit available too. The Ford loyalists in India would be eagerly looking at this version to gather information regarding whether or not Ford will bring any version of this Endeavour (Everest) to our shores via the CBU route.
