First walkaround of the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220 has surfaced on the internet. Pulsar is a household name in our country and that has been the case for a long time now. In fact, the 220 was one of the major contributors to the incredible success of Bajaj since time immemorial. However, after the launch of the Pulsar 250 last year, the 220 was discontinued for a while. But Bajaj must’ve realised that the demand and gap in the market exist which is why it brought back this legendary motorcycle. Let us take a look at it in flesh.

2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220 Reaches Dealerships

At the front, there are halogen lamps encapsulated into a sporty and modern headlamp cluster, a compact wind visor, halogen turn indicators, a sporty semi-fairing on the sides with attractive body graphics, muscular fuel tank, split seat setup, black panels on the side body, alloy wheels, aggressive exhaust pipe, sleek tail section with useful grab handles.

In terms of features, there is a part-digital instrument cluster where the speedometer will be digital while the tachometer is analogue. Most information about the bike will be displayed on the digital display. The switches for lights, turn indicators, kill switch, etc are mounted on the handlebars. The Pulsar 220 will be offered in white, blue, matte red, black and silver paint shades which will give the buyers a wide array of options to choose from.

Specs and Price
Pulsar 220 will come powered by a BS6-compliant 220-cc air-cooled DTS-i engine that generates 20.4 PS @8,500 RPM and 18.5 Nm @7,000 RPM mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. At the front, the bike will have a 17-inch alloy wheel with a 90/90 section tyre, a 280 mm disc brake and telescopic suspension with an anti-friction bush. At the rear, you will get a 17-inch alloy wheel with a 120/80 section tyre, a 230 mm disc brake and a 5-way adjustable nitro-shock absorber suspension system. The price will be Rs 1.34 lakh, ex-showroom.
