Here is an interesting drag race between the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and KTM RC200. Pulsar is a household name in our country for a long time now. Bajaj has ensured that there is some version of the iconic Pulsar in most segments of our market. That is why people buy Pulsars left and right. Pulsar RS200 vs KTM RC200 Drag Race
This video has been uploaded by The UP46 Rider on YouTube. He has the two bikes with him and his other vlogging colleague. They decide to perform this drag race for their audience. Note that we don’t recommend anyone attempting to imitate such stunts on the roads. These YouTubers might be professionals but you shouldn’t risk your health and safety at any cost. For the first round, our YouTuber takes the RC200 and his friend takes the RS200. The KTM takes the lead from the get-go and remained ahead throughout the course of the race.

In order to maintain consistency of results, they decide to swap the riders for the second round. This ensures that all sorts of riding dynamics are covered. In this case, his friend, who is on the RC200, takes the lead again although the gap was quite comparable. But soon thereafter, the RC200 again took an unassailable lead and never looked back. It was able to hit around 142 km/h of top speed which is where the speed limiter is. All in all, the KTM emerged as an undisputed winner.

On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has a 199.5-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder mill that churns out 24.5 PS and 18.7 Nm of peak power and torque. It has been derived from KTM and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The price tag on the RS200 reads an attractive Rs 1.71 lakh, ex-showroom.
