The vlogger starts with showing the physical key of the vehicle. As this is an entry-level model, the key is a typical flip-type unit that is provided even on the India-spect Polo. A start-stop button is optional on this variant. The auto-folding ORVMs are now offered as standard on the Life variant. The host then goes on to point out how the bumper seems inspired from the Golf while the grille looks pretty sleek. Compared to the India-spec Polo, the international version is definitely a lot more stylish and even looks much more modern whilst retaining the traditional clean design. Also, as the car shown above is in the base trim, it gets projector halogen units instead of LED bars. The DRLs, however are incorporated into the headlamp units.
Next, the car is shown in the side profile, which, again, retains the clean look while looking pretty modern and suave. The B-pillars are cladded in glossy black plastic while the car features stylish dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels shod in 185/65-spec rubber. But unlike the R-Line spec model, the Life version gets drum brakes instead of discs at the rear. The rear-end features an integrated spoiler while the star feature of the tail-end are the huge taillamps that replace the smaller units of the earlier model. The video host next opens the hatch and gives us a look at the 351-litre of boot space that the car provides. In comparison, the India-spec VW Polo offers only 280-litre. Inside, the Polo Lite gets fabric upholstery, adjustable headrests, adjustable seatbelts at front, height adjustment front seats, a smaller digital instrument cluster, leather-wrapped steering wheel, smaller touchscreen infotainment unit and manual aircon. There is no rear armrest or lumbar support.
