The 2022 Tata Tiago CNG XT is the most value for money variant of the car. It is now available at Rs 6,69 Lakhs.
Recently, Tata has updated the Tiago with an optional CNG kit. It comes with several new features and minor design changes. The new hatchback is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine that offers 86PS and 113Nm of torque. For transmission, it comes with a standard 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. The CNG option (with its petrol engine) produces 73PS and comes with a 5-speed MT. It is now available for purchase for Rs 6,69 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Here’s a detailed look at the 2022 Tata Tiago CNG XT:
As you can see in the YouTube video by Plus Drive, the 2022 Tata Tiago CNG XT looks quite stylish. Compared to the Petrol version, it is heavier and has a 168mm ground clearance (2mm less). However, Tata Motors claims that the CNG vehicle comes with tuned suspensions. You get 14-inch stainless steel wheels (175/65r) with Goodyear tires. There are disc brakes in the front and DRM brakes in the back.
The new car has a 4-star Global NCAP rating. It comes with safety features like ABS with EBD, Overspeed warning, central locking, and more. For the CNG model, the company has added a gas leak detection feature and an advanced ECU system. Also, in case of an accident, the car will cut-ff the valves automatically and the CNG left in the pipe will be dissipated in the atmosphere.

The boot space is quite small as it houses a 60liote CNG tank. On the side, the door handles and the B-pillar come in body color only.
Inside, the 2022 Tata Tiago CNG XT uses a black and beige color scheme. It uses hard plastic for most of the interiors.
