Skoda Slavia has been transformed into a baby Octavia RS version in this digital concept by SRK Designs.
SRK Designs have come up with an interesting RS Edition of the 2022 Skoda Slavia. This version is based on the Octavia RS version which already has a ton of enthusiastic followers. RS indicates the performance version of regular cars in the Skoda family. Slavia is the latest model from the Czech carmaker for the Indian market with the hope of reviving the depleting sales. Kushaq and Slavia have been entrusted with the revival process and so far, the results have been positive. Let us check out the digital version of the premium mid-size sedan.

Skoda Slavia RS Edition
The video takes us through every single detail of the development process. Firstly, the overall height of the Slavia has been lowered considerably to enhance the driving and handling characteristics which is the trademark of a performance sedan. The front end has been modified aesthetically with sleek horizontal fog lamps in place of the rounded units, a splitter underneath the front bumper for better aerodynamic efficiency, a blacked-out grille, redesigned bumper, de-chroming of the butterfly grille and replacing it with black glossy material. The VRS badging has been inscribed into the grille as well.

The sides are accentuated by stylish alloy wheels, blacked-out windows, a chrome belt running underneath the windows, Skoda badging on the fender and the typical sharp creases. The rear section has been extended a bit as well which is visible in the bumper design. This Skoda Slavia is designed for enthusiastic driving and great handling. One could easily perform high-speed manoeuvres in a sedan that has been designed like this. That is what made the Octavia RS sell like hot pancakes in our market.

The regular Skoda Slavia comes with a 1.0-litre three-pot motor that offers 115 hp-175 Nm, while the bigger engine displaces 1.5-litre and churns out segment-leading 150 hp-250 Nm. It also offers cylinder deactivation technology to optimize fuel mileage. Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard but buyers can opt for a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre motor or a 7-speed DSG with the 1.5-litre mill.
