Recently, Maruti Suzuki launched the new Baleno and the Dzire CNG in India. Now, the company is all set to launch updated versions of the XL6 and the Ertiga. Both cars have been spotted on the Indian roads during the testing phase. However, since the new cars are now reaching dealerships, more details have emerged. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift is expected to be launched in the next few months. It will come with minimal design changes on the outside. Let’s take a closer look!

The 3-row MPV will feature a revised grille that could resemble the Baleno facelift. It will also feature new DRL and fog lamps. The MPV will even have new electric and foldable mirrors with a turn signal lamp. The car will also get revised interior with new upholstery, a leather steering wheel with wooden ornament, a sporty dashboard with wood panel, a new infotainment system, and added features. Additional features will include a new allow wheel design, new rear design, color options, auto climate, and more. Overall, the 7-seater MPV will continue with its sporty look.
The 2022 Maruti Ertiga Facelift is expected to continue to be powered by a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine (with mild-hybrid tech) that produces 104bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. For transmission, it will get a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic options. The company might also pick a 6-speed torque convertor automatic instead of the 4-speed AT. Safety features will include cruise control, monocoque structure, radar-based assistive features, ABS, emergency stop signal, speed sensing, automatic door lock, electric stability control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and multiple airbags. There will also be a rear tracking camera with front and rear tracking sensors.

The 2022 Maruti Ertiga Facelift is likely to be launched in June this year. It is expected to be priced between Rs 7.99 and 11 Lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming car will compete with the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra Marazzo. The current Maruti Ertiga comes with a starting price of Rs 8.12 Lakh (goes up to Rs 10.85 Lakh).
