The exteriors of this version of the S-Cross do look modern, although there are elements of other Suzuki models. The front end seems to be inspired by the XL6 with glossy grille, chrome strip, LED headlamps with DRLs, modern design pattern in the headlights, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, subtle side profile, integrated roof rails, panoramic sunroof, LED taillamps connected by a black glass slab, skid plates, etc. Understandably, not all these elements will make it to our shores.

Maruti S-Cross – Powertrains
The specs on this version are different. But we expect that the India-bound model will be powered by a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine that makes 105 hp and 138 Nm of peak power and torque. There will be the option of choosing between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is highly unlikely that Maruti will change this powertrain. Currently, the S-Cross ranges from Rs 8.59 lakh and Rs 12.56 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelifted version will likely be priced a bit higher than this. It doesn’t have a direct rival being a crossover SUV.
