Maruti Ertiga is one of the most successful MPVs to have gone on sale in the country. The recently updated model comes at a starting price of Rs 8.35 (ex-showroom). The 7-seater car is one of the company’s new launches this year. The company is said to have received over 6,000 bookings in just 6 days of opening order books, which goes on to show the popularity of the Ertiga moniker. The refreshed vehicle is already available for sale and several buyers have already taken delivery of the revised model. Both the Petrol and CNG variants are available through the company’s Arena showrooms. 2022 Maruti Ertiga VXI
The refreshed Maruti Ertiga comes in LVi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ trims. There is also optional automatic VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ variants. Now, the car comes in Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Prime Oxford Blue, and Auburn Red color options. The new changes include an updated chrome winged grille and redesigned bumpers. New safety features include four airbags, hill-hold assist, brake assist, rear parking sensors, 2nd-row ISOFIX child seat mounts, speed alert, seat belt reminder system ( driver and co-passenger), and ABS and EBD. Also, the new Ertiga is built on the company’s HEARTECT platform.

On the inside, the 2022 Maruti Ertiga VXI has a new 7-inch Smart Play Pro infotainment system and Hi Suzuki connected car technology. There is also a sculpted dashboard with a new metallic teak-wooden finish. Whereas the seating is finished in plush dual-tone fabric. Additionally, the facelifted model comes with features like armrests, bottle holders, a power socket for each row, roof-mounted AC control, multiple air vents, second-row seats sporting a one-touch recline, and slide mechanism along with 50:50 split third-row seats.

The 2022 Maruti Ertiga is powered by a new K15C engine with DualJet technology. It offers 75.8 kW (103 PS) power and 136.8 Nm torque. For transmission, the company has added a 5-speed manual transmission and a new 6-speed AT with paddle shifters. On the other hand, the CNG model outputs 88 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of torque. In terms of mileage, you will get 20.51 km/l in petrol manual, 20.3 in petrol auto, and 26.11 km/kg CNG. Additionally, the new engine comes with improved NVH – Noise, Vibration, and Harshness levels.
