Maruti Ertiga Old vs New – Exterior Comparison
While the overall silhouette remains the same as the outgoing model, there are quite a few distinct design elements that will be changed. This includes a bolder front end with a slightly redesigned projector headlamp cluster, the front grille with a different pattern, and redesigned bumpers which are standard with facelifts. The side profile consists of chrome door handles and a single prominent crease to give a sporty character to the MPV. In the preview images, not a lot is visible at the rear end but it would be logical to assume minor tweaks to the taillamps and bumpers. There might also be a modern design pattern for the boot lid and chrome to attract customers who are looking for lots of bling.
Interior and Features Comparison
The general layout of the cabin is also likely to remain unchanged but Maruti has announced that the new Ertiga will come equipped with a whole host of new-age features and conveniences including a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro Touch Screen Digital Infotainment System with Suzuki Connect that would have a ton of functions for added comfort of the passengers.

Specs and Mileage Comparison
The updated Ertiga will come with an all-new next-gen K-Series 1.5-litre petrol engine that would be assisted by the Progressive Smart Hybrid technology which will boost the mileage. The power (105 hp) and torque (138 Nm) figures are likely to remain unchanged too. However, the new engine will be mated to an all-new advanced 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters for manual control. The regular 5-speed manual gearbox would also be available. The CNG variant will also be offered in ZXi trim. The current prices of the Ertiga range from Rs 8.12 lakh and Rs 10.85 lakh, ex-showroom. The updated model will see a slight bump in the prices.
