We are getting new information about the upcoming Maruti Brezza compact SUV on a daily basis and this time, it revolves around the crowd’s favourite, the electric sunroof.
According to this video, the Maruti Brezza will offer a sunroof even in the second-from-top variant as well. It is well-known that Maruti had bowed down to the customer demand for a sunroof and to make it more accessible, it will offer it in the ZXi trim too. The top model will most likely be called the ZXi+, going by the typical Maruti nomenclature. Here are all the other details available about the compact SUV before its launch on June 30.

Maruti Brezza Sunroof In 2nd Highest Variant
The video has been uploaded by a YouTuber who claims that the ZXi variant of the Brezza will get the electric sunroof. He mentions that the top and second-top variants of the recently launched Hyundai Venue also follow the same trend of offering a sunroof. In addition to that, the Head Up Display (HUD) will only be offered in the top trim. The latest Brezza promises to be feature-laden which is the only way to tackle the stiff competition from the likes of Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon.

On the outside, it is clear from the many leaked images on the internet that it will have a sleek front grille with chrome garnish, projector LED headlamps, redesigned front bumper with fog lamp housing, upright bonnet line for that SUV-ish stance, stylish new alloy wheels, black side-pillars to enable that floating-roof effect, split-LED taillamps with Brezza engraved above the number plate section and redesigned sporty rear bumper with skid plate and reflector lights.

Specs
The new Maruti Brezza will most likely feature the same engine as the recently launched Maruti Ertiga and XL6. This means that there will be an updated 1.5-litre K-Series Dualjet Dual-VVT petrol engine with Smart Hybrid technology. This engine makes 103 hp and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The YouTuber mentions that the base model of the Brezza would start from Rs 8.19 lakh, ex-showroom and he will reveal the prices of the other variants in a couple of days.
