The launch of the 2022 Maruti Breza will occur today but the internet has the leaked videos of the LXi and VXi variants already.
A video on YouTube captures a detailed comparison between the LXi and VXi variants of the 2022 Maruti Brezza. The compact SUV is eager to retain its podium position in the compact SUV segment in terms of monthly sales. Currently, the Tata Nexon and the recently launched 2022 Hyundai Venue are its toughest rivals. With the new Brezza, Maruti aims to offer a worthy challenger to the throne which the previous-gen Brezza held for a long time.

2022 Maruti Brezza LXi vs VXi – Exterior Comparison
The difference between various trims of any car is visible from the exterior itself and the new Brezza will be no different. To start off, there will be a distinction in the headlights of the two variants, the front grille might also be a bit more embellished in the VXi trim, the sides hold the major difference of offering wheel covers in the VXi, while the LXi version just has the black rims, the A-pillar in the VXi version is black, while it is body-coloured in the LXi trim, but the tail section of these trims don’t have too many distinguishing elements to tell each other apart.

2022 Maruti Brezza LXi vs VXi – Interior Comparison
The changes to the inside of the cabin will be more significant and apparent. To begin with, the centre console layout is completely different in the two trims. In LXi, the HVAC is manually operated with physical knobs that were popular in entry-level cars a few years ago, there are no steering-mounted controls, the place of the infotainment display is empty, no power-adjustable ORVMs, no rear parcel tray, no rear seat adjustable headrests among other things. As far as the engine specifications go, the new Brezza will be powered by an updated 1.5-litre K-Series Dualjet Dual-VVT petrol engine with Smart Hybrid technology which is also seen on the XL6 and Ertiga. This engine makes 103 hp and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The expected price range of the new Brezza is Rs 8-12 lakh, ex-showroom.
