The 2022 Maruti Brezza is all set to be launched in the Indian market. While the market launch is expected in late June, the deliveries are likely to start in July. However, you can already pre-book the upcoming car at your nearest dealership. The company has not revealed the price of the subcompact SUV as yet. Still, select Maruti Suzuki Arena dealers are allowing customers to book the new car at an initial sum of Rs 5,000. Let’s take a look at the new-generation Brezza subcompact SUV!

The 2022 Maruti Brezza is expected to be priced between Rs 7.84 lakh – Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is said to come with several upgrades over the existing model. The new-generation model will be powered by an updated 1.5L K15C petrol engine (103 hp/ 137 Nm) with two injectors per cylinder to chance fuel efficiency. For transmission, the subcompact SUV will come with a 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The company might also launch the factory-fitted CNG kit at a later stage.

In terms of looks, the 2022 Maruti Brezza seems to carry forward the basic design of the current model. However, the next-gen model gets enough changes to give it a more modern look. It comes with a redesigned front bumper with fog lamps, black side pillars, roof rails, pronounced wheel arches, and new alloy wheels. The front fascia will feature a slim front grille with a chrome finish and tweaked LED projector headlamps (with integrated LED DRLs). Additionally, the compact SUV sports an updated tail section with a slimmer pair of LED taillamps, sporty bumpers, and a new tailgate.

On the inside, the 2022 Maruti Brezza is expected to come with features like wireless smartphone charging, a 360-degree camera, a new instrument cluster, new flat-bottom steering with mounted controls, paddle shifters, an electric sunroof, the latest Suzuki Connect connected car tech features, automatic climate control, and 6 airbags. It is said to feature an all-new dashboard and a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a new SmartPlay Pro+ interface and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
