The new Scorpio N has been making all the headlines ever since it was recently revealed for the Indian market after being here for 20 years.
The interior space inside the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N has been revealed in this short video clip. The iconic SUV gains quite a few modern elements including the exterior design and interior layout. The latest tech and conveniences features have also been added for enhanced comfort and connected functions. In this short video clip, we get a glimpse of what the inside of the new Scorpio will be like, including the space in the rear seats.

2022 Mahindra Scorpio Interior Space Revealed
The video has been shot with the SUV still wearing a thick camouflage on the outside, but the interior is entirely exposed. The upholstery is brown in colour, along with the central armrest between the front seats, there are controls on the steering wheel, the centre console holds the large infotainment screen along with physical buttons for climate control, multimedia, etc, there are cup holders between the front seats and a little open area in front of the gear lever. The rear seats tumble to allow space to access the third row where the space looks adequate for adolescents. Even for regular-sized adults, it could be enough for short journeys, but we will have to wait for a detailed review to form a concrete opinion.

The exterior has already been officially revealed. The 2022 Scorpio borrows design cues from the last-gen XUV500 and has, therefore, grown in dimensions compared to the existing Scorpio, which by the way, will be sold together with the new model. The front face wears the chrome-finished vertical slats, a sporty bumper and a sturdy skid plate, while the sides bear resemblance with the erstwhile XUV500 with raised window line toward the rear and black side pillars.

Specs
The exact specs of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will be revealed only at the time of the official debut but it looks like the new SUV will share its engines and transmissions with the Thar. The entry-level diesel engine variant will offer 130 PS with a 2WD format but the higher variants could offer 150 PS with an optional 4WD. The petrol variant will be sold with a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine that will produce 150 PS. In all likelihood, the petrol version will be available only in 2WD format. Transmission choices for both the engine variants will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit. The prices could range between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom.
