Digital renderings are a great way to quench your thirst for some concept designs of some regular cars. Here is one such example of what these could look like.
The regular Kia Carens has not been launched and the 2022 X-Line concept version is already out. The Hyundai Alcazar-rivalling Carens was unveiled last week. It is the fourth product from the Korean carmaker in India and aims to build on the success achieved by the Seltos and Sonet duo. The design of the Carens is quite unique and modern but people might have polarising opinions about the exteriors. Those characteristics and design cues are also carried on to this concept version. Let us check out what other changes have been made to this unique edition.

The overall silhouette of the mid-size SUV is somewhat similar to the original model that was showcased by Kia last week. However, there are quite a few distinct changes that let you recognize that this is a concept version. To begin with, most of the elements of chrome at various places on the body have been replaced by black-out material. This is a glossy black design pattern that lends the SUV a more sporty appearance. This is visible on the front grille area where a lot of things have been blacked out including the headlamp surrounds, bumper, radiator grille, etc. The skid plate below the bumper also adds a rather rugged feel to the SUV. The Kia moniker is also tainted black.

Moving to the sides, one can’t miss the chunky off-roading high profile tyres with black wheel arches and body cladding. The ORVMs, door handles, A, B and C-pillars have also been finished in black. There is a practical luggage carrier installed on the roof to enhance the cargo capacity and utility of the SUV. The black roof also gives Carens a flowing roof effect. The colour combination of this army green and black really gels well to give a sturdy exterior appearance to a rather regular people mover. Let us know what you think of this unique concept version of the Kia Carens. The original is about to officially launch in our market soon.
