The Hyundai Santa Fe on sale in Malaysia is a stylish car that comes with hybrid powertrain options and a ‘third generation’ architecture. Now, a new facelifted version is all set to arrive in the South East Asian country. The new Santa Fe 2.2D Executive Plus SE is said to come with a turbodiesel engine unit, large 19-inch alloys, Nappa leather upholstery, and a full panoramic sunroof. 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe in Malaysia
The new Santa Fe comes in four powertrain options – a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (191 hp), a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (277 hp), a hybrid (226 hp), and a plug-in hybrid (260 hp). While the gas-powered Santa Fe has a mileage of up to 25 combined mpg, the Santa Fe Hybrid offers 32 combined mpg. The Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid has a fuel efficiency of 76 MPGe in electric-only mode and 33 combined mpg in hybrid mode. The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe is available in five trims: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy.
The upcoming car will come with automatic projector headlamps, bulb-type front fog lamps, powered side mirrors, keyless entry and start, a seven-inch touchscreen unit, dual-zone climate control with ionizer, 19-inch wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, a walk-in device on the eight-way powered front passenger seat, leather dashboard trim, deluxe cloth-lined pillars, a reverse camera, cruise control, and more. Safety features will include six airbags, ESC, ABS, Downhill Brake Control, hill start assist, traction control and Vehicle Stability Management. The Premium variants will also get Rear Occupant Alert, blind-spot monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.
