Volkswagen is updating its line of SUVs in the international markets and bringing the models up to date with the latest design theme of the brand. One might argue that there are not too many radical changes to VW’s products but VW makes sure that the products remain fresh nevertheless. There are always new elements added to the products to keep them up-to-date. The focus is currently on the SUVs, at least in India and that is why the 2021 VW Tiguan Allspace concerns us. It might make its way to our shores next year. VW India has been focusing on SUVs in every segment and this will be a decent addition to that plan. This will make the brand diverse and might replace the current-gen Allspace to keep it updated to rival the competitors. 2021 VW Tiguan Allspace – Exteriors
The overall exteriors and dimensions of this updated model are not too different than the outgoing one. This one has a bit of modern appeal to it with interactive IQ LED Matrix headlamps with LED DRLs which can change itself according to different driving conditions and chrome on the front grille. The sharp creases on the bonnet and sporty new bumpers give the SUV a tall and muscular stance. The sides are accentuated by the 17 to 20-inch alloy wheels depending on the variant you pick along with sharp creases that give a texture to the side profile of the SUV. The rear hosts the typical LED taillamps along with the Tiguan badge, rear roof spoiler and sporty rear bumpers which makes the SUV sporty.

2021 VW Tiguan Allspace – Interiors and Features
The inside of the 2021 VW Tiguan Allspace continues to carry the quality which VW is known for. The overall theme is an all-black interior but comes with all the modern features including DIgital Touchscreen Infotainment System with Bluetooth Connectivity for Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Connected Car Tech with plenty of remote features, Digital Cockpit Instrument Cluster for easy information for the driver, Premium Audio System, Ambient Lighting, Electric Panoramic Sunroof, Automatic Climate Control and much more. The safety equipment is also at par with modern vehicles including features like Emergency Automatic Braking, Pedestrian Monitoring System in addition to the standard safety equipment.

2021 VW Tiguan Allspace – Engines and Transmissions
When it comes to the engine options, the Tiguan Allspace comes with a wide range of engines including a 1.5-litre 150 hp TSI turbo petrol unit, a 2.0-litre 190 hp TSI turbo petrol unit, a 2.0-litre TSI petrol in a higher state of tune making 245 hp. The latter two come with a four-wheel-drive configuration. Then there is also a 2.0-litre diesel engine in two states of tune; 150 hp with the front-wheel drive and 200 hp with the all-wheel-drive configuration. There are chances that this updated Tiguan Allspace might make its way to our shore sometime next year because VW is concentrating on SUVs in India. The Allspace will make the brand flexible but Volkswagen has not made any official announcements regarding this yet. The current model costs Rs 34.20 lakh, ex-showroom.
